Diane Peacock - Mary (The Constable's Daughter)

Diane studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and later gained a Levershulme Scholarship to continue her vocal studies at the Royal Academy. Operatic roles include Pamina (Magic Flute), Michaela (Carmen), Marguerite (Faust), as well as Osmina (Suor Angelica) for both Grassington and Saltaire Festivals and Annina/Violetta (cover)(Traviata) for the Dartington International Festival. She has toured with Opera On A Shoestring, performing various opera scenes in their ĎAn Evening in Parisí programme and toured Northern Italy with Academy Opera. Diane has twice appeared with the Northern Wagner Orchestra; first as a Rhine Maiden and then as a Valkyrie. As an oratorio soloist, Diane regularly performs throughout the country and locally has appeared with the Ripon, Knaresborough and Wetherby choral societies and the North Yorkshire Chorus. Diane recently gained a scholarship to study with Rosalind Plowright at the 2007 London Masterclasses.
