Ben Lindley - A Cheap-Jack

Ben first discovered singing at the age of nine, when he joined the York Music Centre Choir conducted by Margaret Hammerton. From there he auditioned and was awarded a place in the National Children's Choir of Great Britain to which he gave many years of service. His first appearance with York Opera was in Amahl and the Night Visitors where he played Amahl. Other prformances with the amateur operatics society include Carmen and The Mikado.

Ben has just finished his A-levels at Bootham School in York and is embarking upon a gap year, hoping to travel to New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. He has sung in venues around England as part of the National Youth Training Choir of Great Britain and enjoys being a member of The National Youth Theatre.
