Clive Goodhead

A member of York Opera since 1981, Clive has played many principal parts, including the title roles in Verdi's Nabucco and Mozart's Don Giovanni, Count Almaviva in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and Poor Claus in the world premiere of Hans Gal's Rich Claus, Poor Claus. His most recent appearance was as Sir Roderick Murgatroyd in Ruddigore, which his family described as "truly scary". A former chairman of the group, he is now "proud and delighted" to be its president.
